Our academy stands on the belief that music is not only an integral part of life but also a source of profound joy and growth.Ssams Music was founded by Shirley Manuel in 2016. Before this, Shirley worked in close collaboration with her father at his academy - Rebecca Music Academy - as Assistant Director since 2003. Built on a rich musical heritage, Ssams Music is a culmination of years of passion, dedication, and a strong desire to share the magic of music with the world.We strongly believe that music is very closely linked to the mental and physical wellbeing of an individual, and we strive to impart this knowledge and importance of music to everyone we mentor and train. Along with technical expertise, we want to teach music as a way of life. We at Ssams Music aspire to be a beacon of light, bringing back a love for raw and authentic music.Ssams Music places paramount importance on individual attention and care, and our curriculum is crafted to align with each student's musical needs and goals. Our training not only helps students in their musical journey but also prepares them for life outside the academy in various ways.We provide students with a solid foundation in technique which is not only the cornerstone for any great performance but also for mastery of music for life. Rather than readily providing solutions at every turn, our lesson plans are designed to spark curiosity while equipping students with methods, tips, and tricks that also push them to think and explore for themselves. We also strive to nurture strong relationships with our students in order to create an environment of trust, collaboration and continuous growth. All this builds a ‘wow’ factor around every lesson and fosters a sense of anticipation for each week’s learning.
