Rooted in Indian classical thought yet unbound by its traditional constraints, Mukti explores music as a space of freedom, dialogue, and evolution. Formed by four musicians from Delhi, the project is driven by a shared reverence for rhythmic and melodic traditions, combined with a curiosity to engage across genres. Their sound moves fluidly through Indian classical frameworks, world music, jazz, and contemporary influences, shaped by personal interpretation rather than convention. Mukti’s music is an exploration of collaboration and possibility, where tradition is honoured, genres intersect, and familiar forms are reimagined for modern audiences.
