Sherise Dsouza is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning vocalist and songwriter from India, known for her powerful performances and remarkable versatility across genres. A Recording Academy Voting Member and Country Music Association (CMA) member, she has gained global recognition for her distinctive voice and musical excellence. Her notable accolades include Emerging Female Pop Artist at the 2025 Open Mic Awards in Hollywood, International Female Songwriter of the Year 2025, and International Performer of the Year (Bronze) 2022 at the International Singer-Songwriter Awards, USA. She has also won Best Pop Song at the Clouzine International Music Awards for “Baby Girl” (2022) and “You Get Me” (2023), and placed third in Radio Wigwam’s International Female Artist of the Year (2021). Sherise has been recognized by Hard Rock Cafe India as part of the global ‘Women Who Rock’ movement. Blending Rock, Pop, Funk, Country, Blues, Reggae, Jazz, and more, Sherise has collaborated and performed with renowned artists including Karl Jenkins, David Bray, Patricia Rosario, Hema Sardesai, Shaun LaBelle, and Norway’s Viking Queen, performing at Oppdal Rock Fest. She has captivated audiences across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and India with her emotive and energetic stage presence. She leads The Sherise Dsouza Collective, a high-energy band delivering dynamic performances across multiple genres. As a solo and duo artist, she recently performed at Los Angeles in January 2026 for the musicFuze charity showcase supporting LA wildfire victims. A vocal coach for over a decade, Sherise holds Trinity London Rock & Pop certifications up to Grade 7 and mentors emerging artists through GRAMMY U. She is also part of Lazie Indie Magazine’s core team and helps organize the International Independent Music Festival in India. Beyond music, Sherise is a songwriter, instructional designer, columnist, and author of the poetry collection Directions, Dimensions, Dexterity.
