Shatabdi Das is an acclaimed All India Radio and Doordarshan artist specializing in Rabindra Sangeet and Indian folk music. She holds a Master’s degree in Rabindra Sangeet from Visva-Bharati University, Shantiniketan, where she trained under Smt. Swastika Mukherjee and Shri Prabuddha Raha. She has also studied folk music under renowned international artist Smt. Dipannita Acharya. A recipient of the prestigious National Scholarship in Rabindra Sangeet from the Ministry of Culture (UGC), Government of India (2014), Shatabdi was honoured with the SIWAA (South Indian Women Achievers Awards) 2025 in the Art & Culture category. Shatabdi has also performed at Raj Bhavan, Karnataka in 2023 and has been felicitated by the Honourable Governor of Karnataka for the Same. She also performed “G20, Azadika Amrit Mahatsav” in 2023. She created her own Indian folk and Sufi band in Bangalore in 2018 named Achin Pakhi.
