Mansi Pandey is an aspiring singer from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, currently pursuing Class 11 (Humanities) at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Indore. She has been passionate about music since childhood and considers music not just a profession but a way of life. She began her professional music training at the age of six and continues to learn under the guidance of Pandit Shri Gautam Kale at Sangeet Gurukul, Indore. She was previously trained by respected mentors including Pandit Chandra Shekhar Vyas, Sunanda Nasikar, and Ustad Wajahat Hussain. Mansi has completed a Diploma in Vocal Music from Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University, where she developed a strong foundation in Indian classical music. Her training includes ragas such as Yaman, Bhupali, Bhairav, Bhimpalasi, Bageshwari, Vihag, Khamach, and Khamaj, along with bandish, sargam, tarana, taan, aalap, and khayal singing. She is also skilled in semi-classical forms including bhajan, dadra, thumri, tappa, ghazal, kajri, chaiti, hori, and jhula. Inspired by legendary singers such as Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Alka Yagnik, and Shreya Ghoshal, Mansi enjoys various genres of music, especially classical, western, film songs, bhajans, and non-film music. She believes music runs in her family, drawing her earliest inspiration from her mother, who was her first teacher. Mansi has participated in several national reality shows, including Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs, Dil Hai Hindustani, Indian Idol, and Suron Ka Eklavya Season 02 on DD-1 in 2024, where she became runner-up. She has also earned recognition in many singing competitions such as Voice of Dewas, Hunar Ka Nikhaar, Indore Jatra, Surshree Season 4, The Voice of Central India, Tandav Indore, Golden Voice Delhi, and SIFF Young Artist Bengaluru.
